Nintendo Announces New DSi
Nintendo announced that the new DSi will be available in Japan in November of 2008. According to this story the Nintendo DSi will feature two cameras, it will be 12% thinner than the DS lite, will have an SD slot, a built in browser, sync photos to the Wii, and feature music playback. If that is not enough Nintendo will open a “DSi Shop”.
Nintendo says this is not made to compete with the DS but will be a third platform. The new Nintendo DSi is also loosing the legacy Game Boy Advance port. The unit will be on sale November 1, 2008 in Japan and will sell for ¥189,000 (around 180.00 US).
There is also an official Nintendo DSi website setup.

Looks like they’re gearing up to compete with the PSP. Also read that the screen in going to be larger. I may have to get this one when it comes out in the US.
